Data deletion
Last updated: August 17, 2026
Asius uses cryptographic app and device identities instead of a conventional username-and-password account. You can remove most data without contacting us. If you no longer have access to an authorized app or device, use the support process below.
Delete hosted files
Open the Asius app, select the paired device, open its stored drives or files, and delete the items you no longer want hosted. The request must be signed by an app key with the required access. Deleted objects may remain briefly in operational backups before automatic expiry.
Remove app access
Remove the app’s public key from the device access list. Uninstalling the app removes that installation’s local private key and settings, but does not by itself delete hosted files or remove other authorized apps.
Stop sharing readable data
Turn off Share with Asius on the device to stop new data from being made readable to Asius through that setting. Turning it off does not automatically delete copies already shared or undo completed research, aggregated outputs, or trained model parameters. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Ask us to delete data
Submit a Privacy or data request at asius.ai/support or email support@asius.ai. Include the public device identifier, but never send a private key or recovery secret. We may ask you to sign a challenge with an authorized app or device key so we can verify the request.
We will delete or de-identify data linked to you unless retention is required or permitted for legal obligations, security, disputes, completed transactions, or other grounds under applicable law. We will respond within the period required by law, normally within one month for EEA data-subject requests.
